The Four Winds Gallery in combination with Montcalm Gallery of Greenville, Michigan was instrumental in the effort of promoting the work of Francoise Gilot in the United States during the late 60s into the early 70s. Many of the other artists they carried, though lesser known, tout bold accomplishments throughout their careers.
