Presented for your interest is a wonderful, rare example of a lithograph that includes a drawing. The bottom half, about 14" x 22", displays an original drawing of a bird with its head turned (in purple Crayon) and a large flower (in Graphite). My gallery has had the pleasure of offering at least one of nearly every lithograph produced by Francoise Gilot, and among them all, none of them is as unique as this one. Because of this item's nature, it was difficult to determine its correct value, whether one sees it based on the lithographic portion or the drawing - these both combined with its rarity.
