Some cracking to the frame, consistent with age. This piece is in otherwise very good original condition. Ready to be hung and enjoyed. 

Josef Heimerl was an Austrian artist who worked from the late 19th century into the early 20th century. His work consists mostly of scenes of puppies and kittens, with an additional child at times, as well as the occasional portrait of a monkey.
